1. Overview

Taptacle ("we," "us," or "our") is a social media management app developed by Mad Love Concepts LLC. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use the Taptacle iOS application and related services at taptacle.app.

By using Taptacle, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the app.

2. Information We Collect

Account Information

• Email address (when signing up with email or Google)
• Display name (from Apple, Google, or your social account)
• A unique provider ID when you use Sign in with Apple or Sign in with Google

Social Account Tokens

• OAuth access tokens for Facebook and X (Twitter) accounts you choose to connect
• These tokens are encrypted at rest and used only to publish content on your behalf

Content You Create

• Post text, images, and scheduling metadata you create within the app
• Your post history (published, scheduled, and failed posts)

Usage Data

• Basic app activity needed to operate the service (e.g., post timestamps)
• We do not use third-party analytics SDKs or advertising trackers

3. AI Prompt Data

When you use the AI generation feature, the text prompts you enter are transmitted to third-party AI providers you have enabled:

• OpenAI (ChatGPT) — governed by OpenAI's Privacy Policy
• xAI (Grok) — governed by xAI's Privacy Policy
• Google (Gemini) — governed by Google's Privacy Policy

We do not store your AI prompts or the generated responses on our servers beyond the duration of your session.

4. How We Use Your Information

• To authenticate you and maintain your account
• To publish posts to connected social platforms on your behalf
• To store and display your post history within the app
• To send scheduled posts at your specified times
• To communicate important service updates (we do not send marketing emails)

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for advertising purposes.

5. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on Cloudflare's infrastructure, which provides enterprise-grade encryption at rest and in transit. Social account tokens are stored encrypted and only decrypted server-side at the moment of posting.

Authentication tokens on your device are stored in the iOS Keychain, which is hardware-protected and inaccessible to other apps.

6. Sign in with Apple

When you use Sign in with Apple, Apple may provide us with a unique identifier and optionally an email address (which may be a private relay address). We only store what Apple provides and use it solely to identify your account. We never receive your Apple ID password.

7. Sign in with Google

When you use Sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and a unique Google account identifier via OAuth 2.0. We use this information only to create and identify your Taptacle account. We do not access your Google Drive, Gmail, or any other Google services.

8. Facebook & X (Twitter) Integration

When you connect Facebook or X, we store the OAuth access token provided by those platforms. This token is used exclusively to post content you explicitly create and publish within the app. We do not read your feeds, messages, follower lists, or any other data beyond what is required to publish posts.

9. Data Retention & Deletion

You can delete your account at any time from the Settings screen within the app. Upon account deletion, we permanently remove:

• Your user record and authentication credentials
• All connected social account tokens
• Your post history and any stored media

Deletion is irreversible and completed within 30 days.

10. Children's Privacy

Taptacle is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of Taptacle after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
